World Wise

Many years ago, Encoder Products Company, Inc. (EPC) recognized the value of having operations around the globe. Besides the obvious benefit of being able to better serve a customer base that was becoming increasingly international in its make up, world wide operations would also put EPC in the position of being able to take advantage of economies available in certain countries. To cite just one example, manufacturing stainless steel housings in the United Kingdom is a lot less expensive than in the U.S. For these and many other reasons, EPC has dedicated itself to being truly "worldwise", and has expanded to a number of international locations. Each location not only concentrates on providing the best level of sales and service possible for a certain geography, and provides specialized manufacturing capability for the corporation, but each location also has repair facilities and is staffed with customer service and support experts

	Corporate Headquaters
EPC serves its customers in North and South America primarily from the corporate headquarters facility in Sandpoint, ID. In addition to a 30,000-sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Sandpoint, EPC operates an additional 30,000-sq. ft. facility nearby Westmond, ID.

	Westmond Plant
Westmond is undergoing a dramatic expansion that will nearly quadruple its size. Both facilities also produce parts and completed units for other EPC divisions.

British Encoder Products Company (BECO), EPC's wholly owned European subsidiary, is located in the United Kingdom. BECO provides sales and service primarily to Europe and Australia.

EPC's Asian Division, Zhuhai Precision Encoder Company, Ltd. (ZPEC), a wholly owned susidiary of EPC, is located in China. ZPEC supports EPC customers in the Pacific Rim Countries.
